Super 8 by Wyndham Spring / The Woodlands

Rooms are big and clean. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker made my stay convenient. Lots of food and grocery choices in the area including a 24 hour Whataburger. Was able to buy breakfast at Whataburger the night before (they start serving breakfast at 11pm) and heat it up the next day for breakfast. Also ate at the BBQ place and a Chinese place all within a few blocks of the hotel. The hotel is literally next to the freeway. I do not think the hotel currently offers free breakfast. Both days I went by in the morning and the lobby was closed. Maybe they will provide a grab and go breakfast upon request, but I did not ask. To check in, check out, or speak to front desk staff you must ring a bell and they will come help you through a window. For some reason they asked me if I had a dog 3 times when checking in. Hotel is next to a bar. It is far away enough that you cannot hear anything except late at night when drunk customers are in the parking lot. I’m a heavy sleeper so it wasn’t a big deal, but I can imagine others being bothered by it. Ask for a room facing away from the bar if that is an issue. The freeway is also in the direction of the bar so ask for a room facing away for an overall quieter room. I really liked the area and the rooms are a decent price so I have already booked another stay for when I’m in town next month.

I stayed here years ago before it was renovated recently. It was your average cheap hotel but not so horrible that it was like a crack Hotel LOL after the renovations seems to look even nicer. I recently only was there to pick up a computer from someone who repaired it for me. But from what I gathered it looks like it's doing much better now than it was. And looks way nicer on the outside especially. If you're looking for a cheap hotel but don't want to get exactly what you paid for and have a little bit nicer of your room than say a motel 6? This is definitely a step up from there but almost it's equal. I wouldn't exactly hang out outside, especially at night. But it is located conveniently right behind a bar I have frequented in years past called Molly's pub. And that bar is not super Shady or full of a bunch of Rick. Accessible I'm walking distance of this hotel so that's a good Plus possibly

The room is comfortable with a little bit of that older place look and smell but not in a bad way. The lady who checked us in last night was really great. She made sure we knew about all the amenities, or lack thereof, thanks covid. This is the only place I've stayed at so far to actually do this without me asking specifically about breakfast, pool and all that jazz. It's quite and comfortable, basic in layout and room features. I give 4 stars because of aforementioned lack of amenities; the pool is empty, there's no breakfast at all and no laundry room, again all told to us prior to us checking in in case we changed our minds and wanted to go somewhere else. Basic hotel that's affordable and comfortable. Pics will follow

Decent , the TV wasn't working , had to call twice for that , the AC did not work well at all we got there to get ready for a concert the room was finally cool when we got back so it took about 6-7 hours to cool the room down , it's was miserable getting showers and trying to get dressed to go out, 2 queen bed room you get 2 towels fir a room that sleeps 4 , the man wanted to argue with me Instead of giving me 2 more towels cause we had 4 people, the pool closes at 9pm doesn't reopen until 10am check out is 11am , LoL !! We called ahead to see if they were serving breakfast they said yes we serve breakfast, waffles generic frosted flakes generic raisin bran white bread that's it , nothing else oh wait apples that's all. The juice dispenser is sooooo watered down it tastes like water with a faint hint of some kind of fruit in it, saving some money on that for sure.. I did enjoy the pool the next morning I went ahead and got into after I went and looked at the breakfast they served. Pool was nice n cool but so was hot tub jets on cold water, LoL it wasn't the worst place but for $90 a night I would've at least likes to have had a cool room with good AC

One of the better super 8's that I have stayed at. Staff was friendly and rooms were fairly well taken care of. Had a problem with a light not working over the sink , called the front desk and maintenance was there to replace ballast within less than 10 minutes. Overall I had a good experience here.

I come here every time I visit TX the hot water just don't be Hot enough, its lukewarm. Nice room and great service

I stayed here Oct.2021 I promised her a great review. She probably thinks I forgot. It is now March 2022. I cant say enough good things about this stay or the friendly service. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! She accomodated my little dog with no fee that I can remember. There was a stove top in my room. It was all so clean comfortable and very welcoming! If my truck ever breaks down in the Houston area again. I will be back!!! I told her she should be charging a lot more money for this place. It was only $50.

I love this place, I come to Houston once or twice a month for business and they're always so nice and for the price the rooms are cozy and clean. Never slept better on a bed that wasn't my own before. The best part is that they allow me to do early check in (most places in the area lose my business due to no early check in) because I drive down here from Dallas and arrive around 9-10am. And I'm exhausted! Sometimes they charge the early check in fee and sometimes they don't. Which is fine with me. Overall nothing but good experiences here, they'll always be my go to hotel when I'm in Houston.
